Born in New Orleans in 1957, Lambert grew up in Shreveport and Lafayette, Louisiana and Carthage, Texas. A highschool imitation of Norman Rockwell foretold of his passion for the old masters. A foray into Pop Art led to what he calls "pixel-art" in 1985. His study under Frank Mason began in New York in 1993 and continues to this day.
